Venue Amenities:
We found a lovely piece of property on 26 acres, and the place is exclusively ours for the weekend. It's got an indoor swimming pool, a huge hot tub, 24 bedrooms, multiple kitchens, a lodge with a bunch of couches, an award-winning garden with a gazebo and a huge outdoor fire pit. It's even got its own short walking loop trail. It's located about a ten-minute drive from Sandy, Oregon. There are a bunch of bathrooms around the property, and four showers. Keep in mind you won't have a bathroom for yourself like you would in a hotel.
Lodging Options:
Venue Dorm Rooms:
The dorm rooms have two twin beds per room and minimal furniture including end tables, suitcase stands, and a small mirror cabinet. Pillows, linens and towels are provided. You may want to bring a laptop/tablet if you want entertainment within your room. Folks with dog allergies may want to select a different option as dogs are allowed everywhere on the property.
Pricing: $60/room/night ($180 total if staying all 3 nights)
Venue Camping:
For those of you that enjoy camping, there's some lovely flat grassy areas that are perfect for it. Bring your own camping gear (tent, sleep system, etc.). You will have access to the kitchen facilities & nearby restrooms with showers.
Pricing: Camping on Site: $15/tent/night ($45 total if staying all 3 nights)
Venue Payment Details:
Since the venue is owned by a non-profit organization and their staffing resources are limited, they are unable to accept payments directly from each guest. Payments for lodging should be sent to Becca & Brian via any means (cash, check, Venmo, CashApp) prior to checking out on Monday, September 7th.
Hotel:
Best Western Sandy Inn approx. $190/night (approx. $570 for all three nights)
About a 10-minute drive away. This is the best option for folks with dog allergies and people that would prefer a private restroom. The room block will be released to the public on July 31st so be sure to book before the end of July to take advantage of the room block rate.
